Don’t give up your dream just because you have a day job!

There comes a time in life that most of us give’s up on our dream’s because we work so hard and it seems like nothing is working, and you face so many challenges, that you say to yourself these challenges seem overwhelming. You’ve suffered one setback after another and you seriously think about giving up your dream not only because it’s hard but it is so time consuming and you have a day job so you don’t have time to pursue your dream.. You question yourself; maybe you don’t have what it takes after all? Maybe your breakthrough idea just isn’t realistic? Maybe you should quit now rather than continue to make a fool of yourself? If your dreams are easy to achieve, probably you are shooting for the ceiling and not the moon. Success requires tremendous effort, but the results are well worth it!

You need passion in your life:
One of the most impotent things you have to realize is that when you set a goal you must have a strong (why). Say to yourself why am I trying to achieve this goal? If you don’t have a mission, or a strong enough “why” you will give up your purpose! Every success venture requires hard work and actions. Without putting in any real effort, you can never achieve the outcomes that you want. No matter whether you are a teacher, a student, a doctor, a businessman, a writer, a blogger or an athlete, success requires you to go through tough times and take massive action before you can rise and become extraordinary. First, most people give up on their dreams because they do not see any significant result, the reason being that they are not taking enough action.

If you want to see the result, you must take action. The action is the bridge connecting your reality and your dreams. Without taking action, you will never make your dreams come true. It is said that failure is the mother of all successes. If you have never tasted defeat, you have never truly won. We celebrate success because we know we achieve it through failures and setbacks. If success comes to you easily without any effort, you will never appreciate it. When do you learn to appreciate something the most? The moment when you lost it. The same goes for success. You will appreciate it the most if you have gone through failures and setbacks. Bill Gates once said that “success is a lousy teacher because it seduces people to think that they can’t fail.” There will be no success without failure. They are the 2 sides of a coin, and you just cannot get away from either one. It is either you experience failure, or you experience the joy of success. Please understand that failure, setbacks, and tough times are unavoidable. You cannot have the sunshine all the time. It will rain, but once the rain is over, the sun will come out again.
This is what we call life.

One of the reason’s people give up on their dreams is because they are afraid of the failure:
You never know how things will turn out in the end and how they will eventually show us that they aren’t failures after all, and I tell you this from my own experience, I have seen this happening so many times. Of course, on the other hand, there are those people who are constantly assuring us through their actions, behaviors and their own words, that they are failures. I know somebody who calls herself a failure, and every time we meet she reminds me of who she is, in case I forgot. These people are doing nothing, nothing at all in order to get their lives moving in a new direction, a direction that is not productive to them or to those around them.  These people simply can’t, and won’t get out of their comfort zone, choosing to procrastinate all day, every day. I ask myself many times; do they ever wonder if there is more to life? Do they ever ask themselves how would it be if they would start moving and if they would start doing something, anything? Did they ever dream of being more, did they ever dreamed of achieving bigger things, bigger than anyone could ever think possible?

Persistence:
With failure comes persistence. Persistence is something that can only be learned through hardships. If you never fall down, you can’t learn how to get back up. Each time we pick ourselves back up and forge through, we get a little bit stronger and more capable of achieving our ultimate goals. Have you ever regretted trying something in your life? Perhaps it was trying

out for the school play. Or asking that special someone out on a date. That feeling of wondering what could have been might still eat at you even years down the road. How do you avoid that feeling of regret? By trying. You don’t have to do something huge, but sitting down and making a plan with small steps on how you will achieve your dreams will start you off in the right direction. Little by little you will forge a path towards your goals.

You are not that far off from success:
If only you knew how close you were! If only you knew what an impact it would be for one more phone call, one more interview, and just one more late night working on your passions. Often we give up far too soon. We can’t see what the future holds for us, but we sure can keep striving towards our dreams. Finally, if you have children (or might have them some day), you will be setting a good example. Do we want our children to tell stories about how comfortable we were sitting on our couch watching sitcoms, or do we want to be remembered for the passion we had for life? Hopefully we can show the future generations what it means to chase after our dreams. Remember, always remind yourself about what your purpose is, use the push and pull motivation technique to drive you and you must press on until you produce the result you want in life.
